How to Get a Relationship

I don’t believe there is one set way to get into a relationship. Sometimes it’s cause you were friends and it evolves. Sometimes your dating and then there’s that special one that stands out to you and its mutual. The key is feelings have to be mutual or you have one more vested than the other and that causes emotional distress which is no fun for anyone.

Another thing I want to mention is sometimes peoples’ lives are not yet ready for a relationship. Maybe your too busy or you have other dreams or you have to work on yourself before your ready to include and work with someone else.

If you’re constantly looking for your next romance, perhaps take a step back and make yourself happy. You can’t force anything, the universe will provide when you are ready.

One thing I forgot to mention is, it seems that men know what they are looking for when they find it. Have you ever seen a man just become so infatuated with someone and they just know they want to get to know her better. They won’t take no for an answer but in a romantic, gentlemanly way. Not like a psycho, stalker way. If done correctly it shows the woman that he is there for her and not just there to get into her.

Consistency is KEY

In a Relationship
Some guys really know how to woo you. Once they think they have you the woo is gone, then you have a couch potato with plans to have you over to be a couch potato too.

Awesome!

No offense couch potatoes, I am one too. I would just rather do it by myself, thanks.

It begins with the coffee, then the dinner, then the long walks at the beach after a nice movie, then dinner at subway, then eat before we go out and theeeennnnnnnn, oh just come over well watch some netflix and eat ice cream on the couch.

Plans
Lets say you want to go away somewhere, if that's the case hopefully the guy helps plan or plans most of it, cause if the girl plans and then he asks if your excited? Ummm NO, the girl already know whats going down because she planned it, duh!

A lady should only have to worry about looking pretty and waiting to be picked up.   She should be PLEASANTLY SURPRISED AS TO WHAT'S IN STORE FOR THE DAY! It should be a mystery to keep her intrigued.  NO MYSTERY = NO EXCITEMENT.  GUESS WHATS NOT GONNA HAPPEN LATER?   I'm just sayin!

The comfort zone is probably what some people go for, both guy and girl. You don't really try anymore, your just ok with what ever. No more opening doors or picking you up or just coming to see you for the short 30 minutes you have.

Then it all goes down hill from there and you either stay and keep wondering when the spark is going to come back or you bounce.

I say BOUNCE, let them learn with the next person.

Lesson
If your going to be a certain way in the beginning, you better be prepared to keep it up. Unless of course you don't care what happens, which happens at a certain point then that's the answer for both involved.

Taking for granted is the leading killer of all relationships. I'm just sayin...

Give and TAKE

When you can, always give. When you have nothing then take. Its that simple. It will somehow balance out, I assure you.

In a Relationship
This could mean your time, taking an interest in what one another is into, and taking time for your self.
Honestly I'm no good at this so I cant explain it any better. Maybe I take too much time for myself, hence all the ME time.

With Friends and Family
Share your day, share your dreams, share your grievances. DON'T forget to allow them the chance to do the same, or ELSE there will be no one there to share with anymore. I'm just sayin...

If your a grown up, then be a grown up. Take responsibility for your actions, apologize if need be and try to be better next time. No one likes meaningless apologies, you'll see. ALSO if you cant face that you've done something wrong then you cant move forward. YOU will never mend the relationship and you will be a repeat offender for life.

Some people cant apologize, have you ever noticed that? They simply cant face that they said or did anything to offend anyone. I haven't figured these people out, I can only assume they were scorned heavily at one time and cant take it anymore. Maybe its something completely different, who the heck knows.
Could be the case of the huge ego.

One Sided LOVE

I think this happens more in grade school than anything. When you see someone that peaks your interest and just think you love them but know nothing about them. Then you grow up and realize there is more to love than meets the eye.

Ok, well it could still happen when your older if you haven't wizened up or had enough experience. Sometimes your in a relationship and then you get blindsided by the other person no longer being interested for no apparent reason. Then your left hanging, all alone, with just you and your feelings.

I think this is where stalkers are made, or simply those people who just cant let you go. People need to have a rule book to breaking up. Its really a delicate situation. If not done right you could ruin that person for the rest of their love life.

I'm no expert at breaking up, so you'll have to do your own research. Good luck to you! The one thing I can tell you is never lead someone on. If you even have the slightest feeling your not all in, express yourself. Communication is of utmost importance. Duh!

If you've ever been the one left hanging, I recommend you look back and remember all the things you hated about them and realize that you could find someone with all the qualities you like. Its never to late, there will always be another fish around the corner. Fo Sho!

If you've never found a fish, well I'm sorry, I really don't know what to tell you. Try makeup ;) unless you already wear a lot, then wear less. If your a guy, be a gentleman not a push over.

In LOVE with 2 people?

No way ho say!

I was watching the end of the Bachelorette today and she says that she cant choose because she loves both guys.
Do you think that its possible? I do believe that it is, however it wont last. Its for the time being and its because they are set up in this fantasy land where love is meant to bloom. Who's to say she'll love either one when its over. No other contestants but one have survived. What does that tell you?

I think she put herself through this whole emotional roller coaster to be disappointed. What do you think?

Now lets look at the real world. There are polygamist. One man loves more than one woman and they love him back. They have agreed to this lifestyle and they fight everyday to make it work, making their bonds stronger.

How come a man can do it but a woman cant? Don't you think we need more attention and care? It could be that three guys put together would make one perfect man for some woman. I'm Just sayin...
Would a guy ever agree to this?

Have you ever heard of Polyandry? Well its actually the term for one woman married to more than one guy. If they made a word for it then it must exhist! It does, however its not very common and it seems to have occurred outside of the united states. Damn!

Just because we don't see it doesn't mean its not happening in our own back yard. People will do as they please even if it isn't recognized by the law.

Honestly though keeping up with multiple relationships would be way to hard. Its hard enough just making one work. Where would all the ME Time be?

Guys in ....

Los Angeles

The City of Angels
They are far and few in between.

If you live in LA you've probably heard a girl at one point or another say that there are no good men left here. That you would have to go to another state and find a decent guy. For all I know people are saying this all around the world.

I'm not agreeing or disagreeing I'm just sayin...

I think that there are a lot of factors that result in this. A big one is that there are a lot of actors looking for the next best thing. I don't mean to point out just actors. People in general are very indecisive but actors live in a very competitive world and we are surrounded by many here in Hollywood. People have been jaded and that results in trust issues.

Also we love to have fun and don't want to be tied down. This goes for guys and girls. Anyone can be a commitment phobe. They just aren't ready to take it to that next level with you or anyone for that matter.

Your always going to find someone who has a bad experience and then disses the opposite sex all together. This will pass when they have healed and they find someone of interest. Like day and night!

As you get older it gets harder and harder to break out of your comfort zone. This will keep you from allowing others in. Lets say you meet someone knew and you think they are cool. Unless you have the opportunity to run in to them on several occasions you will probably have that one encounter and then leave it at that. That's a lost opportunity and it happens to many. All because they couldn't take the initiative.

All I can say is that anything that is said by anyone is because of their own experience and perspective. That changes with time and then you will just have to be in the right place at the right time.

Should you walk in on her naked by accident, look away immediately and apologize
Offer to pay if your able to
Claim and support your children
When at dinner, stand when a lady stands
Pull out her chair
Dress to impress

When sitting at a restaurant, the woman should be seated in such a way that she can look out into the restaurant and the man should sit so that his attention only lie on her.

DO NOT:  Spit, lose your temper, or interrupt
Everything has a time and a place.

If you are doing it correctly you should see gratitude from your encounters, even if it is just a smile.

Whale Watching

So I bought a trip with my friend to go on a 4 hour boat ride in the channel islands. Once we were on the boat they mentioned that the best time to come was in December. WOW!

Did I see any whales on my trip you ask?
NO!

It shoulda been called Marine Bird Watching with Dolphin sitings. HA!

Seeing dolphins was cool. There was a pack of them swimming all around and the baby's swam right up against the mothers.
They took us to this island and we went all around it. It was nice to hear the history and all but we still didn't see any whales. There were some sea lions and again some birds.

                   

As you can see it was a cold and gloomy day out at sea. We had come from 90 degree weather and I did not dress for the ocassion.

I do tend to get motion sickness and in this case I got sea sick. The good news is I always feel better after I throw up. AWESOME! Then we got to eat lunch which was just half a sandwich and some pasta salad. They had watermelon which I hate so didn't get that.

Since I do get sick I don't think it will be worth doing it again. Maybe with time I will feel differently but Ive gotten sick on other excursions as well. Even just kayaking makes me sick. GOSHNESS

Colorado Theater Shooting

Can you imagine being in a movie theatre and having someone randomly start shooting?
OMG NO!
Well it happened at the Friday midnight showing of the new Batman. Do you think that movie is cursed now? I'm just saying from what happened to Heath Ledger in 2008.
Who in their right mind thinks about that? Well I'm sure were thinking about it now...
I know everyone is wondering where the heck this guy got his motive to do such a thing. To my knowledge we don't know yet.  I read something that made it seem like his mother automatically knew it was him.
What is wrong with parents who see something wrong with their children and don't do anything?

Its those smart quiet people you have to worry about. Do they just feel like out casts so they have to ruin other peoples lives? Do you think he was bored and just came up with this idea just to see if he could get away with it? Well if it is the guy they caught in the parking lot, he didn't get away. He did however manage to kill 12 people and injure many more. What does he get out of that? Gross!

My friend thought maybe they would begin putting detectors in the theatres now, if they do, they need to do it at the exits because that's how he got in! Mortifying!

I like how something bad happens then we take extra precaution, after the fact. If someone wants to do something, they are going to do it and they will figure out a way. How about they just ban movies and video games that have been proven to influence these disasters. Kids wont know the difference if they never knew it was there in the first place.

Breakfast

Have you ever gotten sick of eating the same thing every morning?
For a while I was eating oatmeal then I got so sick of it, I wont eat it anymore.
Now I eat plain fat free yogurt and add gluten free granola, flax seed and whey protein to it. I like the combination and have yet to not want to eat it.

I read in a book for metabolism that you should jump start your day with protein. I dont know how much I get in this combination but I feel just fine. Its not a very big portion so if I get hungry before lunch then I will eat fruit and the almonds. These almonds are plain, when I had the salted ones they went really fast. Salt makes things taste so good, I keep control over it because it cant be good for you in excess. I wonder if you can have an addiction to salt?

Soda Review

Let me just say I try not to drink soda. Sometimes you just cant help it though!
Today I was given the new Pepsi Paradise Mango.
In my personal opinion they should not have made that combination. I realize everyone has different taste buds but 3 other people did not like it either. My friend Coleen said it tasted similar to the Green Skittle. I'm not sure what that one tastes like but it must not be the best one!

I took one sip and was done with it. I feel that it had a very artificial taste to it. It says on the can that it has less sugar. Most of the time I don't like things that say diet because I can taste the fake sugar and its not a satisfying taste. Yuck!

I find it funny that they will still make money because people will buy it just to try it weather they like it or not. Oh the way the world turns ...

What I Saw Today

What did I see you ask?
Not a whole heck of a lot.

I went to breakfast with a friend and had a shrimp omelet. Boy was it good. Later I took a walk and browsed through Barns and Noble. There was a kid telling his mom that part of the schedule was to hit Pink Berry. I found that amusing, it also made me want some as well. I intentionally left my money so that I wouldn't buy on impulse when I had no desire to spend money.

While I was browsing books I had no intention of buying I ran in to Biography's. I thought it would be interesting to read about someone I am familiar with. That person happened to be Andy Cohen from Bravo TV. I read a few pages and actually was intrigued. It was time to go so I put the book down and left.

Walking through all the people at the mall I began to really focus on what people were wearing. I know for sure I don't put a lot of effort into my appearance on a daily basis. I don't know why but some people really stand out while others don't and it causes you to judge. I don't see myself as a judgmental person but it made me wonder about the choices people make.

As you can see the highlight of my day was breakfast. I don't know what tonight holds for me but breakfast will still be the best part.

BOSS Problems

Have you ever worked for someone you cant respect?

Let me tell you it doesn't last long. Most of us want to keep our dignity and the light will shine through!
Not only is it hard to work for someone you don't respect you also cant work with someone that way either.
Take a look at your friends. Can you be true friends with someone you don't respect? NO! You dump them for better ones.

The problem is its harder to dump your boss or coworker than it is to dump a friend. Respect is necessary in our society. People gain respect and people give it. If its not there then you wont be taken seriously and no one will listen to you. Can you imagine a boss that no one wants to listen to? How can they perform their job?

The biggest turn of in a work place are people who gain power and then try to get away with murder! Power hungry people in general are not to be trusted.

If your not the only one who feels this way at your job,  people need to start pulling together and make something happen. Unhappiness is so unnecessary in our day to day lives. A job is not worth it.
You may think that one little issue is insignificant but add all those instances together and you have one huge problem. Keep track of dates, times and instances. One day this will come in handy even if your not prepared to present it that day. If nothing else its some kind of release for you to write down your frustrations.

You should not be taking work stress home with you!

In the end its all about YOU! Are YOU happy? Is it worth it in YOUR life? Is it affecting YOUR mood?
